This is how your polymer clay earrings are made...

  • Mixing colors

    First, I think about what colors the earrings should be - whether plain or colorful. Then I carefully mix the different colors by hand to create exactly the right nuances.

  • Working with polymer clay

    The polymer clay is first kneaded until soft, then rolled out and shaped using my own cookie cutters. If the earrings are to have a pattern, this is now worked into the surface.

  • Into the oven

    Now the finished polymer clay jewelry pieces are placed in the oven. Baking makes them stronger and more durable, while at the same time retaining a slight flexibility.

  • grinding and drilling

    The polymer clay jewelry pieces are then carefully sanded by hand to achieve smooth edges. I then precisely drill the holes for the attachments.

  • Finishing the earrings

    Now the baked polymer clay jewelry pieces are assembled to create finished earrings. For ear studs, the stainless steel plugs are securely attached to complete the jewelry.
